JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Pipelines Construction Manager for a 12 month contract on a major Iron Ore project.

Your Responsibilities will include

  • The primary purpose of this role is to lead a pipelines construction team in the delivery of three major pipeline projects which form a critical part of the project.
  • Accountable for providing leadership to the pipeline construction contractors.
  • Ensures compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the construction contractor’s methods are aligned with the Iron Bridge project outcomes, particularly with respect to the maintenance of appropriate quality records
  • Provide visible leadership in driving positive safety behaviour
  • Managing the construction management team and the construction contractors through engagement, motivation and accountability
  • Managing relationships with all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage all areas of the employee life cycle including recruitment, on boarding, performance management, and development and off boarding for project personnel
Your Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience at minimum EPCM level in similar positions
  • Strong experience in Mining and major Pipeline projects
  • Strong and demonstrable commitment to HSE
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
